Features of Diafenthiuron

Thiourea insecticides and acaricides. Diafenthiuron is a thiourea compound, a commonly used pesticide. Diafenthiuron inhibits mitochondrial function in pests.

White crystal, m.p.149.6℃, vapor pressure 2×10-6Pa (220×10-9Pa(20℃). Solubility at 20℃: dichloromethane 600g/ChemicalbookL, cyclohexanone 380g/L, toluene 320g/L, acetone 280g/L, xylene 210g/L, hexane 8g/L, water 0.05mg/L. Stable to light.

Applications of  Diafenthiuron

Thiourea insecticides and acaricides. It is mainly used for cotton, fruit trees, vegetables, ornamental plants, soybeans and other crops to control various mites, whiteflies, diamondback moths, cabbage caterpillars, aphids, leafhoppers, leafminers, scales and other pests and mites. The recommended dosage is 0.75-2.3g active ingredient/100m2, and the duration of effect is up to 21 days. The medicine is safe to natural enemies.
